Frank DeLibero to get nod as new Ansonia alderman

ANSONIA-Mayor David Cassetti is expected to nominate Frank DeLibero as the new seventh ward alderman during that board’s meeting tonight in city hall.
DeLibero would fill the vacancy created last month when Daniel Evans resigned.
It is expected that the Republican-controlled board will approve DeLibero’s appointment.
The nominee currently serves on the Board of Apportionment and Taxation and the Recreation Commission. More noteworthy is his being a survivor of the usually deadly pancreatic cancer.
His twin sons, Frank and Arthur, are members of the Ansonia High School football team.
